Register for MS & HS Parent/Teacher Conferences | Spring 2021

Parent-teacher conferences are scheduled for Tuesday, April 13 from 3-7 PM. We are excited to be able to offer an in-person conferencing option this trimester! Parents have the choice of scheduling their conference(s) in-person, by phone, or virtually via Google Meet.
Parents will need to sign up on the school website through the parent teacher conference link. Sign up with your student’s name AND then your preferred conferencing option of either: IN-PERSON, PHONE or VIDEO. Sign up examples: Mary Matthews - IN-PERSON or Sally Smith - PHONE or John Jacobs - VIRTUAL
If you request in-person you will meet in the teacher’s room at the scheduled time. If you request a phone call, then the teacher will call you at the selected time of the conference. If you request VIRTUAL, then the teacher will send an email on or before the day of your scheduled conference to the registered account holder with a Google Meet link scheduled at the time of the signup.
How to sign-up
1. Click the following link: https://www.fortgibsontigers.org/vparentteacher/
2. If you have already created an account for previous conferences, input your username and password on the left.
3. If you have never signed in before, use the "Sign Up" section on the right side of the screen.
4. Once you have signed in, you will select the teacher/teachers that you would like to conference with and input your student's name - PHONE or student's name - VIRTUAL. (Click "Continue" at the bottom)
5. Finally, you will select the time slot for your meeting and click "Update" at the bottom.
*If you need to access the Parent Teacher Conference page again you can find it from the home page screen under the "Schools" tab.
How to join the meeting
IN-PERSON - Conferences will be at the scheduled time in the scheduled teacher’s classroom.
PHONE requests - On the scheduled day and time of your conference, the selected teacher will call you.
VIRTUAL requests - On the day/time of your scheduled Virtual Parent/Teacher Conference, open the email you received from the teacher with the Google Meet link and click the link. This will take you to a Google Meet Lobby webpage to enter your name and "Ask to Join" the meeting. Make sure you have a camera and microphone ready!
