Oklahoma Higher Learning Access Program
ATTENTION 8TH, 9TH & 10TH GRADE STUDENTS |
START WORKING ON COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP MONEY TODAY! |
The Oklahoma Legislature has set up a fund that will pay for your college
tuition if your parents’ total yearly income in not more than $50,000.
This program is called the Oklahoma Higher learning Access Program [OHLAP].
What to do to qualify:
Apply to be an OHLAP member today (applications available in counselor's office.
Take 17 units of high school courses required by the program and make at least
a 2.5 GPA in those courses.
Make an overall high school GPA of at least 2.5.
Do your homework.
Stay away from drugs and alcohol.
Meet with the school counselor to go over our school work and records on a
regular basis.
Apply for financial aid during your senior year of high school.
