  • Audible Stories - eAudiobooks for free during the quarantine
  • Junior Library Guild - eBooks; choose High School Stream 
  • Kindle Unlimited - Offering free 60-day trial for premium version during the quarantine
  • Eastern Oklahoma Library System (including Q.B. Boydstun Public Library)
    • 1,000s of eBooks and eAudiobooks (fiction and nonfiction) available through various platforms, such as Overdrive and Hoopla, or from the EOLS online card catalog
    • Also available: various databases for homework & research help; Mango foreign language learning platform; digital movies, music, and magazines; Khan Academy; and more
    • Students do need a public library card to access their eBooks and other resources
    • If students do not have a public library card, they can have someone over 18 apply remotely for a temporary card (good for 90 days) so that they can still utilize the eBooks. They can receive their permanent card by going to the library after the quarantine is lifted and presenting an ID.

Library Policies: 

  • The Library Media Center is open 7:30am - 2:50pm on school days. On Wednesdays, it closes at 1:40pm for faculty meetings. 

  • Students are invited to use the Library Media Center individually before school, after school, or during class time with permission from a teacher.

  • A maximum of 3 books may be checked out for 10 school days and may be renewed 3 times. Exceptions will be made for class assignments and school breaks.

  • Students have the responsibility of using copyrighted materials appropriately.

  • Desktop computers have Internet access and a printer. Before using the computers, students must have signed and returned the “Contract for Internet Usage.”
