Choctaw Nation STAR Program
Success Through Academic Recognition (STAR)
An incentive program for Choctaw members enrolled in grades 2 through 12 that rewards students for academic excellence and encourages success in the classroom.
ELIGIBILITY
- Students must be enrolled in grades 2-12 and possess a Choctaw Nation tribal membership card.
- Incentives are given twice a year at the end of each semester for the following academic achievements:
- All A's: $50 gift card
- All A's and B's: $25 gift card
- Perfect Attendance: $25 gift card
HOW TO APPLY
Recent graduates for the immediate funding cycle shall apply, (i.e., May graduates shall apply for spring funding). Apply in the Chahta Achvffa member portal. Application Dates:
- Jan. 1 – April 1 (for the previous Fall semester)
- June 1 – Sept. 1 (for the previous Spring semester)
